Sweet Satisfaction of Spring

MAPLE WEEKENDS
Mar 20-21 and 27-28, 2010

Satisfy your sweet tooth with Maple Weekends. Local maple producers team up with New York State Maple Producers for the annual Maple Weekends. Visit open houses and learn about maple syrup production. Taste maple goodies and see how the syrup is made, whether by boiling the sap or using highly scientific equipment. Find participating locations in Chautauqua County and throughout the state at New York Maple Weekend. http://nysmaple.com/maple_weekend.html

Frogmore Stew Dinner
Sat, Apr 24, 2010, 6:00 - 9:00 pm

What in the world is Frogmore Stew?
Don’t worry - no frogs died in the making of this dish; in fact, there no frogs were involved at all. Frogmore was a small town on St. Helena Island near Beaufort, South Carolina. Although the town no longer exists, the name “Frogmore” lives on as a classic South Carolina seafood boil. Join us for a good old-fashioned boiled seafood dinner featuring shrimp, crab, sausage, potatoes, corn on the cob.
$28.99 (Cost includes dinner & dessert - tax & tip extra)

Signs of spring are all around. This morning our westie, Tallie, and I experienced a first. We were able to walk in the yard! Soon the spring bulbs will start pushing through - a sure sign of  Springtime! Take advantage of the great weather & venture out to Findley Lake this weekend!

Cheers!
Tobi
